Welcome to Gates & Automation Direct. Our UK based team have decades of experience in the design, manufacture & installation of all types of gates, manual & automatic, so you can be sure of receiving a quality product every time! 

All of our gates are made right here in the UK, in our very own dedicated workshop. We have recently moved into a larger workshop space which has been installed with the latest manufacturing equipment, to ensure we can efficiently produce & finish gates to the highest standards.

We offer a range of services:

  • Installation
  • Supply only (both gates & automation equipment) – We deliver across the UK!
  • We supply our products to the public, commercial and trade!

If you would like to visit our showroom please give us a call on 01698 829 876 or email info@gatesandautomationdirect.co.uk and we can arrange this. Our showroom is based in Blantyre, Scotland (just outside Glasgow).

Within the showroom you can view over 15 styles of path gates, garden gates & driveway gates. We have also installed several working automatic gates with different types of access systems. This allows you to see the finished gate quality and also give you an insight into how the gate automation works.

If you unfortunately live too far away to visit us, do not worry, as we have conveniently setup the website to be as informative as possible with plenty of photos, designs & reviews to allow you to view what we have on offer.

Also, we are available on the phone or email to discuss any queries you have about design, cost, installation, delivery or anything else!

At Gates & Automation Direct we have been manufacturing and installing all types of manual and automatic gates for decades.

Unlike other online gate shops, we have first hand experience in design, fabrication & installation. This is useful, as we are much more prepared & experienced when our customers require help & advice!

You may find some of the online gate retailers simply buy in their gates from abroad and re-sell them.

We custom make everything, in house, right here in the UK!

Gate Installation Service

We offer an installation service on all of our gates, automation kits or both combined. Please see our Installation By Us page to find out costs, availability & areas we cover.

As we are based just outside of Glasgow, Central Scotland, we only cover a certain portion of the North of England.

However, if you like our gates & designs, you can purchase from us and then find a local installer who will complete the job for you!  Many tradesmen and building companies are capable of installing a set of gates & automation.

Alternatively, you can use our guides & tutorials to install your new gates yourself. Some are more difficult than others so be careful when considering which tasks to take on yourself.
