We can supply Roger Technology automation kits, with bracketry pre fabricated to the gate.     Maintenance free, aluminium sliding gate systems. All of our sliding gates are manufactured with an overhang, which has several purposes. The first is that it allows the support roller system (typically hidden behind the opening) to connect to the gate. It also is more aesthetically pleasing as you cannot see through the sides. When measuring for your new aluminium sliding gate, simply take the opening size as you normally would for a driveway gate (measure the clear opening). Included in our pricing, we have allowed for this 500mm overhang which is manfactured as part of the sliding gate. You only need to select the size bracket for your gap width, opening size. For example, if your gap/opening is 3.6m - we will manufacture the gate to be 4.1m. You would select the price/size bracket that has 3.6m within it. How to measure and install a sliding gate system NOTE - we are currently updating our extensive guides on measuring and installing sliding gates, including how to videos. Basic information has been provided below during this time. Please contact our technical team for more assistance at present.   Measuring For A Sliding Gate Measure your opening width or gap width. Ensure you have enough run back (for when the gate is open). Typically you require at least 500mm more than the opening size for a tracked gate. For a cantilever, it is typically 40% more than the opening size.   Installing A Sliding Gate With the correct preparation a sliding gate install can be relatively easy. Levels are important - take the levels across the driveway (does it rise or fall left/right?). Also, the levels into the run back area (where the sliding gate opens).
